There may be an option for some internal transfers, but the majority of the cases would require an applicant to apply through the CAO and compete for a first-year place. You can first ask your tutor/mentor and the Department or School office. 

You should also speak to the First Year Experience Coordinator, Aileen Waterman, if you discover you don't like the course you're on. Aileen will give you support and guidance and will discuss the option to change course with you.
