How do I book an appointment to receive my Student ID Card?
There are 2 steps to collecting your Student Identification Card on completion of registration.
1. Upload your JPEG photograph successfully
- Photos must be in jpeg format and 70-80 KB in size.
- Image must be in focus and correctly exposed (i.e. not too light, too dark or blurred).
- Image must be a close image of the subjects entire head (top of head to shoulder level).
- Facial expression should be neutral and you should be looking directly at the camera.
- Prescription glasses may be included if normally worn, however they must not obscure the eyes nor produce a reflection/glare.
- 'Selfies' are not acceptable.
Your Student ID card will be for the duration of your programme of study and will be validated for each year that you progress through your programme.
There is no charge for a replacement of your Student ID if the card is broken due to normal wear and tear. Please note that you must bring the damaged or broken card to the counter of Student Records and Examinations Office on Floor 1 of the West Wing, before a new card will be issued to you.
If a card is lost, there is a €20 replacement charge.
