I have failed an exam. What do I need to do?

If you fail a module you will be automatically progressed to the Autumn Supplemental Examinations provided a repeat examination is offered in the module you failed (please refer to the Book of Modules ).  Generally marks achieved at the repeat examination are capped at pass standard.  However, if mitigating circumstances affected your performance at the first attempt examination you can to apply to the Mitigation Committee for a Waiver of capping of marks.

For information on the Mitigation Process and how to apply see Examinations - Mitigation
