I have Failed a Semester 2 exam. What do I need to do?

Please note: A dedicated webpage for information about COVID-19, containing FAQ’s, can be accessed here.

If you fail a Semester 2 module, where an Autumn Supplemental Exam is available as per the Book of Modules, you will be automatically progressed to the Autumn Supplemental Examinations and will be able to repeat your Semester 2 examination without penalty (i.e. no capping of marks, no repeat fee) therefore you will not need to apply for Mitigation for Semester 2 modules.
Where a mark has been penalised due to an issue of academic integrity such as plagiarism, the mark achieved by the student in such module(s) will be capped at the Supplemental Examination.
