What supporting documents do I need to submit as part of an exam/assessment appeal application?
This depends on the nature of your exam/assessment appeal.
- If you are appealing due to extenuating circumstances (Grounds C) such as on medical grounds you need official letter confirming of your illness/condition from your GP, Consultant, Surgeon, Counsellor etc.
- If you are appealing due to a bereavement, you must include an official Death Certificate.
- If you appealing due to an examination irregularity or an error, you should provide such documentation as would support your case – such as emails from your module examiner, the Department etc.
- If you are unsure of what to include you should contact the Examinations Appeals Officer for advice.
