Are there rules for creating my student IT account password?

New student IT account passwords must be at least eight characters/numbers long containing at least three of the following four types:
- uppercase characters (A - Z)
- lowercase characters (a – z)
- numbers (0 -9)
- special characters (*/+ etc. )
