If I miss an exam, what should I do?

Please note: A dedicated webpage for information about COVID-19, containing FAQ’s, can be accessed here.

If you are unable to attend an exam, you do not need to contact anyone on the day. You will be automatically registered for the supplemental exam opportunity (if available). If you missed the exam because of mitigating circumstances (e.g. illness, bereavement), you should submit a “Mitigation Application Form – Waiver of Capping”. If approved, your marks will not be capped at the supplemental or repeat year exams.

Under no circumstances will an alternative exam paper/assessment be provided for students who are unable to attend an exam at the scheduled time.
