Do I have to take PhD track review?

All students who are registered on PhD track are required to undertake a review within 12 to 18 months from their first date of registration. As a PhD track student, you will be required to demonstrate progress in the form of a minimum of 10,000 words of written work, as well defending your work at the interview. Once this review is successfully completed you may then apply to transfer onto the PhD programme by using the Research Registration Change Request Form.

Please note you will be unable to register for Year 3 of the PhD programme unless you have undertaken a review and completed your application to transfer onto the PhD.

Please familiarise yourself with UCC's web pages for research students
