What resources are available in the Assistive Technology Lab for DSS students?

The Disability Support Service has an Assistive Technology Lab (AT Lab) which is located on the ground floor of the Boole Library. Resources in the AT Lab include:

  • 9 desktop PCs 
  • Student Printer
  • Scanners 
  • Lapsafe - for borrowing laptops / chromebooks
  • A quiet space with flexible furniture - borrow a laptop or bring your own device

Once registered with the Disability Support Service, your Student ID card should give you access to the AT Lab. If your card does not give you access, please contact DSS.

The opening hours of the AT Lab are:

Monday - Thursday 10am - 9pm (during term time)

Friday 10am - 1pm (during term time)

The AT Lab is closed at weekends.
