How can I defer my exams?

Please note: A dedicated webpage for information about COVID-19, containing FAQ’s, can be accessed here.

The Mitigation process acknowledges certain circumstances that may impact on a student's ability to present for a first attempt module/examination  or performance at the first attempt of a module examination.
A student who encounters circumstances which impact on his or her ability to prepare for or complete examinations/assessments can apply to defer those examinations until the Supplemental examinations session or a Repeat year.
A successful deferral application will guarantee that the marks achieved at the Supplemental/Repeat year examination are NOT capped at Pass standard.
For information on grounds for an application, accessing the application form and other relevant information please view the SREO Mitigation webpage.
Note: The deadline for deferring Summer 2022 exams is Friday the 15th April 2022.
If you have a further query, please log in below at the Current Students Queries form. Select your Student Type, Examinations and Mitigation - Module/Examination Deferrals Query and ask your question in the space provided.
