How do I get a screening for Dyslexia?

Please note: A dedicated webpage for information about COVID-19, containing FAQ’s, can be accessed here.

You must first complete an online application form  for dyslexia screening. A link to an online screening tool will be emailed to you and login details. You will be contacted after you take the screening and you can discuss your results with the Advisor to Students with Specific Learning Difficulties.

The screening service is free and available to UCC registered students. It does not provide a diagnosis or allow you register with the DSS, but it does provide you with information about your learning. You must consider the results along with other factors, to make a decision as to whether you need to meet with a relevant professional about further testing.
