What kind of employer event and jobs fairs take place in UCC?
Each year, UCC Career Services runs a busy programme of employer events, including (but not limited to) annual Recruitment Fairs attended by employers from every sector, a Volunteering Fair, number of sector-specific "Roadshows" attended by companies in one particular industry (e.g. Finance/IT) and a large number of one-off employer presentations.
Meeting employer representatives at these events is one of the best ways of improving your knowledge and prospects. Approaching a stand at a recruitment fair or attending an employer event, also demonstrates a genuine interest in that company.
